Horse Secretary

This position would ideally suit someone with a knowledge of shows and showing.

​

The role involves chairing the horse committee, sourcing judges, affiliating the show to the relevant breed/societies and dealing with correspondence pertaining to that. Taking entries, dealing with queries and questions from exhibitors and the public and dealing with range of tasks emanating from the horse section.

General Secretary

This position would suit someone with great organisational skills and management experience.

​

General duties include arranging meetings, taking minutes, acting on matters arising and drafting and circulating tender documents for a range of show services. In addition, you'll be liaising with other secretaries and committee officials and dealing with correspondence, queries and day to day admin of a busy show.
