  • When is Machen Show?
    Machen Show is held on the first Saturday in July. We'll be back on Saturday 6th July 2024.
  • What are the opening times?
    We are open from 8am until 6.30pm.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Well behaved dogs are allowed to the show, but must be kept on a short lead at all times. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the rabbit, poultry, goat, homecraft and food tents. If you're bringing your dog, why not enter our family dog show!
  • Is there car parking available?
    Yes, we have free car parking available for all attendees.
  • Are there any cash points on the show ground?
    Unfortunately we don't have any cash points on site. Not all vendors will be able to take card, so please try and remember to bring some cash with you.
  • Can I bring in a picnic?
    Of course you can! Feel free to find yourself a spot to enjoy your picnic at the ring side, whilst watching the entertainment during the day. Although we do have a wide range of food on sale at our catering units, in addition to a bar selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Who is the judge for my horse class?
    All judges are mentioned on the Horse section of the website in addition to the main schedule. Judges for all areas of the show can be found on the corresponding section page.
  • Is there somewhere for us to sit?
    Seating is very limited on the show field, so we recommend bringing a folding chair or picnic blanket with you.
